Tara met Billy at a local business group years ago when he was filling in for a friend. She was fascinated by his outgoing nature and friendly confidence.
When he told her that he was an author and had just self-published his book about being a professional Santa, her curiosity got the better of her. She went home, bought the book, and read it in one sitting. Its charming stories and photographs were enchanting, but she realized that with a bit of polish and care, it could be so much more.
Fast forward many years to when Bill and Tara’s paths crossed again at a fundraising event for a local park. They began talking about the book and agreed that an updated and revised version was in order if Billy was going to be able to go any further with it. And he definitely wanted his message to reach a wider audience.
And thus began work on this second edition. The updated stories are just as charming as before, and there are many new photographs to enjoy. But most of all, you can hear how much Santa Buckbee loves what he does and the people whose lives he touches.
It’s been a great pleasure to work on this book, and we are thankful for our small role in the joy this Santa brings to families near and far.
