Andrea O’Connor is a well-established author with Emerald Lake Books, having published her Gaby Quinn mystery series, set in Woodson Falls, with us. In early 2023, a health concern interrupted her work on Book 4 in Gaby’s series. But she knew she wanted to publish another book with us.
In looking through her files, she remembered a little children’s book that she’d written decades ago. She had submitted it to various publishers at the time, but hadn’t gotten anywhere with getting it published.
We took a look at it and Mark and Tara were immediately charmed by the story. So, while we were new to doing children’s books, we were thrilled to have this one be the first in our catalogue.
